AABB2026 Ancillary Meetings

Ancillary meetings provide an opportunity to connect with attendees, conduct business meetings, host networking events and strengthen industry partnerships outside official Annual Meeting programming.

AABB exhibitors, universities, nonprofit organizations and Atlanta-based AABB-Accredited facilities are welcome to further their partnerships with the AABB community by holding ancillary events during the 2026 AABB Annual Meeting.

Eligibility

Only the following may request ancillary meetings:

  • 2026 AABB Annual Meeting exhibitors
  • Universities
  • Nonprofits
  • Atlanta-based AABB-accredited facilities

All ancillary meetings and events must receive prior approval from AABB regardless of location. Unauthorized events may result in loss of Priority Points and may impact future participation eligibility. Ancillary meetings must mee the criteria listed below.

Fees & Deadlines

$500 non-refundable fee per event/day
Submit requests by Sept. 9, 2026
Cancellations due by Sept. 30, 2026.

Permitted Times

For events including AABB attendees (non-company personnel).

Friday, Oct. 168 a.m. – Midnight
Saturday, Oct. 177:30 p.m. – Midnight
Sunday, Oct. 185:30 p.m. – Midnight
Monday, Oct. 198:15 p.m. – Midnight
Tuesday, Oct. 208 a.m. – Midnight

Permitted Events

Invite-only, with attendee list and topic submitted:

  • Focus/market research groups
  • Hospitality suites (closed during official events and after midnight)
  • Social functions (non-CME/CE)
  • Investigator/KOL meetings
  • Patient group/nonprofit meetings

Educational/scientific events are prohibited unless approved as Industry Workshops.

Non-Attendee Ancillary Meetings

Company personnel only. Allowed daily from 5 a.m. – Midnight. Examples include:

  • Internal staff/board meetings
  • Business-to-business (B2B) meetings

Rules & Requirements

  • One request form per event/day
  • Start times include transportation
  • All costs are the organizer's responsibility
  • Changes require resubmission
  • AABB approval is required before booking hotel space
  • Events may be listed on the AABB website if required information is submitted by October 6, 2026
  • Allow five business days for review
