Steps to claim CE/CME credits from attending the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting

Step 1: Log into the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting Mobile App.

Log in using the email you used to register for the meeting and your confirmation/reg ID (found on your badge and in your meeting confirmation email).

Step 2: Access the Evaluations

After completing "Step 1", you will be directed to AABB's Education Platform.

  • Log in using your AABB username and password (not your registration ID).
  • If you do not know your AABB username or password, follow the links under the log in block to obtain.

Step 3: Select the Evaluations

Once logged in, scroll through the list of evaluations to find the sessions you attended or watched.

You can use the navigation on the left-hand side to filter sessions by day. To filter only on-demand sessions, select "On-Demand" under "Tracks" on the left-hand navigation or select "Wednesday, October 29, 2025" under "Dates".

Choose the correct suffix:

  • "-L" for sessions you attended live in person.
  • "-O" for recorded sessions you watch online.

Step 4: Complete Session Evaluations

  • You can only complete one "-L" live session evaluation per timeslot (unless a session spans over more than one concurrent session set and then you will only be permitted to complete one eval over the two or more concurrent session blocks).
  • If you watch a recorded session online, fill out the evaluation with the "-O" suffix.
  • Daily registrants will only have access to evaluations for the day(s) registered.
  • On-Demand+ will have access to the sessions recorded sessions as they become available.
  • AABB recommends completing evaluations after each session while the content is fresh in your mind.

Step 5: Complete Overall Meeting Evaluation

  • After finishing at least one session evaluation, complete the overall meeting evaluation (located at the top of the session evaluation listing).
  • You'll need this to generate your transcript/certificate.

Step 6: Submit Before the Deadline

  • Submit all evaluations by Monday Dec. 1 at 3:00pm ET.
  • After this deadline, you will no longer be able to claim continuing education credit unless you have purchased one of the On-Demand packages.

FAQs on Claiming Meeting Credits

How long will I have access to the sessions to claim credits?

Full-meeting, in-person attendees will have access to all recorded sessions from October 25 to December 1, 2025 at 3pm ET.

Daily in-person attendees will have access to the sessions from the day(s) for which they were registered from October 25 to December 1, 2025 at 3pm ET.

On-Demand+ registrants will have access to all recorded sessions from October 25 to December 1, 2025 at 3pm ET through the Meeting Website. After this, they will have access to recorded sessions and to claim credit via the AABB Education Platform beginning Nov. 17, 2025 through Dec. 2027.

I don't see any evaluations when I log in?

It may be that you registered for the Annual Meeting using a different email than your AABB account or if registering onsite there may be a delay in when access is provided.

What continuing education credits are available?

Physicians (CME)
California Nurses (CN)
California Clinical Laboratory Personnel (CLP)
Florida Clinical Laboratory Personnel (FLP)
General continuing education participation credit (GEN)

While not a credit type, sessions that are recognized as qualifying for continuing education credit toward recertification of the Certified Advanced Biotherapies Professional (CABP) credential, as defined by AABB's certification standards, will be noted as such.

How do I get a transcript showing my CE/CME credits?

Follow the steps above to complete evaluations for each session you attended/watched. Complete the overall meeting evaluation to generate your transcript/certificate. Your transcript/certificate will also be available via the "My Transcripts" section of the AABB Education Platform.

Evaluations must be completed by 3pm ET, December 1, 2025.

How can I obtain a Certificate of Attendance?

For those that simply need a certificate verifying attendance (no CE/CME credits), a certificate of attendance will be available via the AABB Education Platform.

Can I earn CE/CME credits for going to the poster sessions?

Continuing education credit is not available for poster sessions or guided poster tours. All programs/sessions that are eligible for continuing education credit are noted as such.

How many CME credits are available to full-registration to the 2025 AABB Annual Meeting?

LIVE Physicians (ACCME): AABB designates this LIVE activity for a maximum of 20.25 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. (Credit amounts are subject to change.)
