Yes, Nashville is known as “Music City,” boasting approximately 180 live music venues—many of which offer free admission. If your time in Nashville includes catching a show at the Grand Ole Opry or the Ryman Auditorium, however, be aware that you’ll need to buy tickets in advance for performances in these iconic venues. During the daytime, you might enjoy a building tour.
Fans of country music won’t want to miss the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum. And even if you prefer other genres of music, you’ll find that Nashville supports artists of many different musical styles via recording studios, record label headquarters and “listening rooms,” where song writers perform their new works to gauge audience response before recording a final version. The city is also home to Gibson guitars.
So, before you leave for the 2023 AABB Annual Meeting, be sure to enter “Nashville” into your browser and find the many ways you can enjoy your visit to Music City.
