Becky Butler Cap Joins Vitalant as Senior Vice President of Biotherapies

Vitalant, an AABB institutional member based in Scottsdale, Ariz., recently appointed Becky Butler Cap as its new senior vice president of biotherapies. In this role, Cap will oversee Vitalant’s portfolio of services for biotherapy developers, focusing on product sourcing, processing, storage and management. She will also work with Vitalant’s network to develop other biotherapeutics for patient care.

Before joining Vitalant, Cap served as senior vice president for BioBridge Global and as the chief operating officer of GenCure, a subsidiary of BioBridge. In addition to her executive roles, Cap has an extensive background in life science consulting and research. Her career began in laboratory and regulatory affairs at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, where she contributed to cancer research trials. She is also in national and international professional organizations in the cell and gene therapy space.
