Reminder: Next AABB Virtual Journal Club Begins Tuesday

The next AABB Virtual Journal Club discussion will focus on a recent report in Transfusion that examined institutional policies and practices related to RhIG immunoprophylaxis after RhD-negative patients receive RhD-incompatible red blood cell and platelet transfusions.

Moderators Ashley Crosby-Ellis, MD; Danielle Maracaja, MD, MHS; Juan Vitelio Rodríguez, MD, FASCP; and John Sherbeck, MD, will lead this edition of the discussion, which will take place over 24 hours through two live chats on AABB’s Twitter/X page.

The first live chat will take place at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, July 16, followed by a second live chat at 9 a.m. ET on Wednesday, July 17. AABB encourages those in the community to attend the live discussions or contribute their perspectives asynchronously using the #AABBjc hashtag.
