Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group Announces October Meeting

The Tick-Borne Diseases Working Group (TBDWG) will meet Oct. 4-5 to review the final draft of chapters of the Working Group’s 2022 Report to Congress. The 2022 report will address a wide range of topics related to tick-borne diseases, including surveillance, prevention, diagnosis, diagnostics and treatment. It will also highlight advances made in research, as well as overlaps and gaps in tick-borne disease research; and provide recommendations regarding any appropriate changes or improvements to such activities and research.

Members of the public can view the meeting online via webcast and may present their views to the Working Group through verbal or written public comments. Instructions are available in a Sept. 2 Federal Register notice.
