As the AABB Foundation nears the end of its 40th anniversary, AABB invites members of the blood and biotherapies community to celebrate the Foundation’s legacy and continued impact by making a gift to the Foundation on Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28.
Giving Tuesday is the global movement that celebrates philanthropy and generosity, and the AABB Foundation extends its gratitude to each financial contributor who is helping make a difference in the lives of patients and donors.
Since 1983, the generosity of many supporters has allowed the AABB Foundation to fund more than $11 million in research projects for more than 200 early-career researchers – many of whom are now leaders in the field. This past year alone, supporters helped award $450,000 to six promising investigators pursuing advances in treatment of hemophilia, sickle cell disease, perioperative bleeding and more.
The AABB Foundation’s Early-Career Scientific Research Grant Program – and the medical advances that it helps catalyze – would not be possible without the unwavering support and investment of the blood and biotherapies community.
AABB encourages members to make a tax-deductible gift to the AABB Foundation today to help unlock the next generation of medical breakthroughs by fueling innovative research.
