AABB Annual Meeting Begins Saturday; Limited Virtual Registration Available

Online registration is still available for the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting, which begins Saturday in Houston.

A highlight of the event is the 116 exhibitors, eager to showcase the latest products and services in the Exhibit Hall, including corporate-sponsored educational events. Attendees can also look forward to abstract “spotlight” sessions, where renowned experts will discuss the latest research and advancements in the field, as well as curated tours of Top Poster Award recipients. Sessions are available to help candidates prepare for the specialist in blood banking (SBB) and certified advanced biotherapies professional (CABP) exams.

Additional events include a book signing with Marion E. Reid, FIMBS, PhD, DSc (Hon.), co-author of Bloody Brilliant and recipient of the 2024 Bernard Fantus Lifetime Achievement Medal, and a live, in-person recording of the “Blood Bank Guy Essentials” podcast. The Biotherapies Pavilion returns this year with new open-mic sessions and opportunities for attendees to network with peers in advanced biotherapies.

Registration options are flexible, with both full-meeting or daily registration available. Registration is also open for the limited virtual access option intended for those who are not able to attend the 2024 AABB Annual Meeting in person. Those with questions may contact meetings@aabb.org.
