Reminder: New BB/TS, IRL Standards Take Effect

AABB reminds members of the blood and biotherapies community that the 34th edition of Standards for Blood Banks and Transfusion Services (BB/TS Standards) and 13th edition of Standards for Immunohematology Reference Laboratories (IRL Standards) took effect on Monday.

These updated editions feature several notable changes, which are outlined in summary documents available for each (BB/TS Standards and IRL Standards). Both editions are accessible for purchase in the AABB Store in print or digital formats or as bundles containing both. Organizations interested in adopting AABB standards can participate in a complimentary two-week trial by contacting standards@aabb.org.
