Reminder: Global Transfusion Webcast Series Continues April 10

AABB is pleased to announce that the next edition of the AABB Global Transfusion Webcast will take place at 10 a.m. ET on Wednesday, April 10.

In this edition, hosts Quentin G. Eichbaum, MD, PhD, MPH, MFA, MA, MSc, MMHC, FCAP, and Daniela Hermelin, MD, CABP, will focus on the three pillars of a sustainable blood system. Soraya Amar El-Desouqui, MD, MBO; Farrukh Hassan, MD, MBA; and Cees Smit Sibinga, MD, PhD, FRCP Edin, FRCPath, chapter authors, will join as guest experts.

Each episode of the Global Transfusion Webcast explores a different chapter from the 2023 AABB publication, Global Perspectives and Practices in Transfusion Medicine, which was edited by Eichbaum.

AABB invites transfusion medicine professionals from throughout the world to join the webcast, which will take place via livestream on AABB’s LinkedIn page. Following the livestream event, AABB will publish the recording on YouTube.
